IMPULSE DRIVE SYSTEMS
Although this system has not been available since the end of 2019, the Impulse story began in 2011 with an innovation: the first mid-mounted motor compatible with back-pedal brakes became a resounding success for Kalkhoff. Ground breaking new features support the development of the Impulse’s follow-up generations - from switching under load through the first e-bike system with mid-mounted motor and integrated battery to optional navigation. Homogeneous support and powerful performance features are other aspects that still characterise all Impulse drive systems to this day. Impulse Systems allow hub gears to be used with much more powerful motors than other crank drives. – Made in Germany included.

GREEN COMMUTE INITIATIVE
Buy your eBike through your employer by salary sacrifice and it means you don’t pay tax and NI on the amount of salary you sacrifice. Depending on your tax rate, you’ll save either 32%, 42% or 47% on the cost of the package. Green Commute Initiative is a Social Enterprise with a vision to get commuters out of cars and onto any kind of bike, with the dual purpose of improving both the individual’s health and wellbeing, as well as reducing the environmental impact of pollution and congestion from cars. We do this through our cycle to work scheme. One of the cool things about GCI is that you are not restricted by the normal £1,000 limit of other cycle to work schemes. GCI is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
